Mark Cameron is an author, musician, and all-around generalist who abandoned the tech sector in mid-life to become a writing instructor. He spent the past five years studying English and creative writing, earning a BA from UBC and an MFA from the University of King’s College. Mark is currently writing two books—a Young Adult speculative fiction duology and a collection of nonfiction essays—while co-chairing the 2025 Wine Country Writers’ Festival.
